El Fin! (de mis clases de espanol)

So, I tested out of Spanish today! Meaning I had my final exam and.....passed. It doesn't sound like a big deal, but it's super easy to freak out about it. If you don't pass, you could end up in another several weeks of Spanish, which pushes back your other classes and your departure date, and it can be a mess. And if you can't pass EVER, you get reassigned to a different post. So PHEW.

In other, related, news -- I finally had a dream that was more than 5% Spanish! I dreamed that I was in Spanish class, and the teacher had put me in the back of the room, and we were watching a movie, and I kept thinking "Bugger, I'm the worst in the class 'cause she put me in the back!" But then she turned to me and asked me to do a presentation because she knew I'd do it well. Because I knew how to "brake" and slow down when speaking. It was nice to wake up after having a confidence-building dream! When does THAT ever happen before a test?

I have never had a confidence building dream, ever! That is so awesome. Yay for passing Spanish! Thanks for explaining why it was such a big deal. I got nervous, after the fact!
