Mis Plantitos!

This is my summer for trying a garden-in-a-pot-on-the-balcony, also known as a G.I.A.P.O.T.B. I figured putting pictures of my little plants on my blog (along with regular updates) would be incentive to keep them alive. That would be embarrassing to have to post pictures of dead plants.

These be peas:And the last two are cucumber/and/or/squash, but I can't tell which is which right now. Oh well, we'll see soon enough! Hopefully.

The prophet DID say to plant a garden (or that primary song claims he did, at least). We tried to grow cilantro for awhile and it grew like crazy but then we, um, sort of forgot to feed it and it shriveled up and died. Sad.

Heh, I forgot about that. Funny how I subconsciously decided to plant a garden after my post about the earthquake.....It's all coming together now....

Sorry about your cilantro. We have a sage plant (that I did NOT take a picture of) that also shriveled and died. I stuck it out side in the rain, 'cause I figured if everyone in our apartment was forgetting to water it, the best we could do is stick outside. It's been raining for four days straight now. God doesn't forget the fallen sparrow nor the dried up sage plant. :)
